Out of the blue. Today was a difficult day as I found myself reflecting on the tragedy that struck so suddenly. The memories came rushing back, reminding me how quickly everything changed. But retirement has been good.
Brewington’s urban sprawl has been brutal. There was a line-up at the Dairy Queen today. But Brewington’s beer is the best; supply and demand.
My cousin pisses me off. We spent hours talking on the phone this afternoon. Tony always wanted to be a big shot in the music business and dreamed of making a name for himself as a deejay. He planned to call himself DJ Tony T, and there was nothing wrong with having big ambitions. The problem was that no matter what gig he landed, he always seemed to find something to complain about. Instead of enjoying the opportunities he had worked so hard to get, Tony spent much of his time grumbling about the crowds, the hours, or the pay, and after a while it became exhausting to listen to. It made me sick.

Today’s top songs came from WRICH 109.9 FM because radio is a big deal in my neck of the woods. Whether I’m at home or out for a drive, there’s always a good chance I’ve got WRICH on and listening to the hitz.
Today’s Top 5 Songs:

If I’m not listening to the radio, I’m watching NBC, ABC, RTTV, or Beast TV. But instead of a regular host, imagine a guy with a TV for a head bringing you all the entertainment and excitement you could ask for. Pretty cool.
The guy with the TV head made a living playing bit roles in television sitcoms. One week he was a mailman, the next week a neighbour, and sometimes he appeared for only three seconds carrying a box across the background. Everyone wondered if he watched himself on TV afterward.
The funny thing was, he couldn’t. His television head never seemed to tune in to the channels he was on. The screen filled with static, cooking shows, weather reports, or old cartoons instead. His friends felt sorry for him, but he didn’t mind in the slightest. He laughed hysterically, out of context.
