Out of the blue. I found myself driving back to Brewington listening to Mario Juan Valez Radio, and it was almost sick, but it was the last laugh.
I dislike pornography, but it’s big in media, and it’s everywhere. I have never really understood its appeal, but lately it seems impossible to avoid hearing about “Big Dick Nick”. According to the buzz, he’s become a cultural phenomenon, with fans calling him the gold standard of the adult entertainment industry. Whether deserved or not, his name appears to be almost hungry for mainstream. It’s disgusting, but it’s out there.
Huge? The trend has grown so large that novelty “Big Dick Nick” T-shirts have reportedly begun appearing in shops across New York. Some people wear them as a joke, others as a pop-culture statement, and a few simply want to be part of the latest craze. Whatever the reason, he’s grown in popularity.
Lately, I’ve been reading some very, very, very strange quotes.

Lately, I’ve been listening to some great and interesting records.
Today’s Top 5 Songs:
- “Boots or Hearts” by The Tragically Hip ‧ 1989.
- “Yer So Bad” by Tom Petty ‧ 1989.
- “Fortnight” by Taylor Swift ‧ 2024.
- “Sometimes” by Pearl Jam ‧ 1996.
- “Greatest Story Ever Told” by Bob Weir ‧ 1972.
I’ve started something new in retirement by taking a seat on the Brewington Tourist Board. It isn’t exactly a demanding position, but that’s part of the appeal. I might spend part of the day wandering around town, grabbing lunch at Buck Burgers, stopping by Brewington Brewery, and then showing up for an hour-long board meeting to talk about the town’s attractions and events.
The truth is, I love my retired life. The pace is slower, the pressure is gone, and I have the freedom to enjoy the simple things. A little fun, a little conversation, and a little community involvement are more than enough these days. After years of chasing projects and responsibilities, I’ve learned to appreciate the quiet satisfaction of ordinary things. #BrewingtonCommunity
