Hey there! It’s Thursday. This is going to be a long weekend before I’m back with another journal. One of my sons has a birthday this weekend, and when you get to be my age, you get a little tired and need a break from journals. I’ll be back next Monday or Tuesday, or maybe Wednesday. It doesn’t matter.
What does matter is that it’s been almost a year since my cousin funded a movie with Sir Alec Bosworth on Apple TV. “One Road To Tulsa” is good. It’s hidden on Apple TV, but you might be able to find the movie, and he won an Academy Award for it, so you must be able to find it. I’m so fucking proud.
I’ve been listening to Club Surprise lately, but now I’m just dusting off some records and digging into my vinyl collection.

Frankenstein’s Feelings is a poem that’s a favourite of mine. Jewish poets get more acclaim, but this one really took a lot of effort and time. You can find the poem on my official website. Frankenstein’s Feelings is wicked.

You know, my cousin really likes pizza. How do you think he got sick? Tony would eat pizza every day and night. I told him a bad joke about pizza, and he ripped me off.
I tried to impress my wife by cooking homemade pizza, talked it up like I was some kind of master chef, spun the dough in the air and everything — then it landed on the floor, the sauce was too sweet, the cheese slid off in one piece, and the smoke alarm started screaming like it was personally offended; we ended up ordering delivery, and when the perfect pizza arrived, she took one bite, looked at me, and said, “Now this is absolutely awesome,” and honestly, I tipped the driver extra.
