Journal #3

Greetings. Praise Jim. It’s Sunday, March 15th, 2026. I’m wearing my Brewington Brewing Co. T-shirt and using my Brewington mug. I put on my Jim hat and then a beer hat. I listened to “Sunday School” from the issue on 1 Way To Increase Your Faith in the Technossance Magazine.

Top 5 Songs for March 15th, 2026:

  1. “Jamming” by Bob Marley ‧ 1977.
  2. “Spanish Caravan” by The Doors ‧ 1968.
  3. “The Birdman” by Our Lady Peace ‧ 1994.
  4. “HandClap” by Fitz and The Tantrums ‧ 2016.
  5. “Fortnight” by Taylor Swift ‧ 2024.

Fortnight is a creative outburst of emotion from her recent album. A good Taylor Swift record, The Tortured Poets Department explores themes of longing, heartbreak, and alcoholism, with the narrator feeling that this fleeting connection ruined her life, despite its short duration.

While watching RTTV, my mind wandered to Buck Razors. It seemed like a harmless thought at first. Then I remembered how ideas like that usually end. Buck Razors sounded bold, maybe even clever for a moment. But the longer I sat with it, the more it felt like one of those bad ideas that should’ve stayed buried with Buck in the dark with a bucket of soggy popcorn.

The Oscars always dazzle. God, the award show has been around a long time. I was about to Google how long, but then turned indifferent. The ABC network originally aired the TV show, but it will soon be available for streaming on YouTube. Before turning in for the night, I enjoyed a good Enrique Mas Cocktail and I started reading from my Oscar book. It was very good.
